sovay: (Lord Peter Wimsey: passion)
My poem "The Poet" has been accepted by Not One of Us. I will not dedicate it to our neighbors or this building, but I don't know that I would have written it anywhere else. There is a kind of quotation from Menotti in it, like sea-rise.

It is snowing lightly in the street outside. I have barely slept all week.

In this brief candle of a month, please enjoy the tenth issue of The Deadlands!

The newest issue has gone live, featuring poetry from Snousha Glaude, Shaoni C. White, Rebecca Bratten Weiss, and James Edward O'Brien, fiction from Fran Wilde and Mar Stratford, and nonfiction from Louise Hodgson and Amanda Downum. Subscribers may dredge these treasures up shining immediately. The rest of us follow the ghost-glow, to see where the moon has drowned at last.

As ever, the archives remain as free to read as funerary inscriptions, but it is the season to leave salt and violets. Even the most well-remembered can roam when unappeased.
