I have not slept in two nights as opposed to brief random hours elsewhere on the clock, but the sunlight this afternoon was gorgeous.

Like just about the rest of this weekend, any plans I had to attend even part of this year's sci-fi marathon at the Somerville did not survive contact with my stamina. Hestia has now broken four slats out of my blinds for a better view on Bird Theater and having tired herself out chattering at their delicious players sleeps innocently against my mermaid lamp, softly and a little snufflily breathing out a purr.

Thank you! She is a most excellent cat and spent much of the day making sure it was difficult for me to leave my chair or the couch or the house.

That's so cool! spatch says it's because they used the theater as a base while filming in Boston, watched the dailies there etc. I hope people take the registry's advice!

While I am glad the cats, for all their eccentricities, don't destroy my blinds, I am sad that I've never had a cat that likes to chatter. It's the world's cutest noise.

Thank you! I worried about them in the snow. The level has risen over the huge shelf of the Ganoderma, but the others are still determinedly and beautifully saprophyting.

(It is fine that your cats do not destroy your blinds. I would have been just as happy if Hestia had not figured out that she could.)
