stephanieburgis, upstart_crow, las, and other worthies. Also an awesome postcard from schreibergasse at the Edinburgh Fringe, featuring a sort of tartan Laocoön. I will have to travel somewhere with sufficiently weird postcards now.
I will write tomorrow about Neil Gaiman and Dave McKean's MirrorMask (2005), which I watched last night withericmvan, nineweaving, and the usual suspects, and which more than pleasantly surprised me. (Why has Dave McKean worked on no further films? I'd trust him with Angela Carter.) Right now, I would settle for this headache falling asleep before I do.
