Rabbit, rabbit! The plumber came at the crack of notice this morning and demulched the drain which had been backing up into the dishwasher. In the evening my mother presented me with the Library of America's boxed set of American Noir: Eleven Classic Crime Novels of the 1930s, 40s, & 50s (2012) on the theory that I might need some comfort reading after this past month. Hestia rests on the blanket which depicts a mother cat and her kittens, a pillow over from Doppel-Abbie.
