I have slain the insurance beast! Why is slaying the insurance beast so expensive? Now I have the fun of calling a whole lot of doctors and requesting them to re-bill me from the start of the month for marginally less bone-breaking amounts of money. This system must look absolutely mental from outside; it does from in here. But we have health insurance again.

moon_custafer: "Obey Your Air Raid Warden" (1942). The Chicago Film Archive Catalogue calls it a 16mm parody of the song by Tony Pastor and His Orchestra, but it looks like full-bore fun with lip-synching to me. It's delightful.
In fortuitous TV programming, it looks as though TCM will be running Desk Set (1957) in June and I won't have to wait until Christmas for Holiday Affair (1949), either.
