YOU ARE RULE 15!

You're a very helpful rule! You allow the attorney to amend their complaint once as a matter of course at any time before the answer is filed, and also allow amendments in other cases. If a claim relates back to the original transaction or occurrence outlined in the complaint, you can amend the complaint, even though the statute of limitations has run. Like a good friend, you're always there to help out in a bind.

And I got a postcard from [livejournal.com profile] greyselke, who so far as I know is still in Egypt. The stamp has a little hunting tomb figure on it. Cool.

Off to dinner. I am introducing my class to Korean storytelling traditions tonight: we're watching Chunhyang. I'm only sorry nobody seems to have taped Peter Sellars' ART production of The Children of Herakles that I saw in 2003. They had an epic singer from Kazakhstan, one of the first female performers in that tradition. She was worth the whole show.
