—and I'm looking for a third to make a genre. derspatchel has suggested The Wet Spots' "Do You Take It?" but it strikes me as more straightforwardly comedic ("You're adorable, reliable / But is your anus pliable?") whereas I find the Schmekel track both funny and sweet. Also, stuck in my head. More of this sort of thing must exist even if I don't know where to look for it. What are the obvious contenders I'm missing?

I love Hurt So Good! My parents' song is "Stuck With You" and I used to get the two songs confused a lot, which was...pretty entertaining.

I am sure I must have heard it back in the day, but I don't recall. (I am really really bad at pop music, even things that were the soundtrack of my childhood. I never have any idea who wrote what -- apart from Beatles stuff, which I actually kept track of -- and have been known to be surprised that two different earworms were from the same song.) I think I found it by Googling [hurts so good lyrics], figuring that expression must have been in a song at some point.
