Readercon. Was wonderful. I did not get any more sleep at the convention than I went into it with—if anything, less—but my voice held and everything I was on went well and
derspatchel came out on Friday night for my reading and I would love to see the Readercon Miscellany become an annual tradition, although I admit that as a performer I'm biased; it was just that much fun. I have books. I saw people. I have writing-related things to do! The usual update forthcoming when the brain has gotten a chance to recover. At the moment, I am eating some goat's milk ice cream and I kind of just want to stare at things for a while.

Thank you.
(I love that icon.)
Even in passing flashes, it was very good to see you. And to hear you speak your poem.

Around nine in the morning on Saturday, when I had not slept all night, I was not sure. But it was great!

If there's video from the Miscellany and I can bear to think of other people watching it, I'll post the link!

I hope you're feeling at least a bit recovered, and that the ice cream has been helpful.
I'm in the Catskills. All the tunes going on an hour ago were a beginner-level session with nobody I knew in it, but I'll be sallying forth again shortly.

Thank you! I was very, very happy to meet you finally in person; I wish we'd had more time. I noticed you sort of disappeared toward the end of the convention—I didn't realize you'd gotten sick! Are you recovered now?
