Words fall through me and always fool me
Of course we have three inches of snow on the ground and gathering. Happy April to you, too, Boreas.
You have no idea how difficult it is not to tell someone who has just expressed a wistful desire to give up philosophy and run a fruit stand in Paris that they are giving you flashbacks to Wittgenstein, even when under the circumstances it would clearly be unkind.

So curious, SO curious, not gonna ask for details, that would be rude, not gonna...
I sometimes have a wistful desire to give up work and live in a hollow tree, become amphibious and swim every day. I think your friend's wistful desire is a lot easier to achieve.

Who or what is your icon?
"When my cue comes, call me and I will answer."
My icon is Bottom from A Midsummer Night's Dream, as played by Kevin Kline in that version that came out in the 1990s and had a half-naked Rupert Everett as Oberon and Michelle Pfeiffer as Titania. I was addicted to that one and saw it like five times in the theaters. I want to watch it again soon, now that I'm thinking of it.

Let me know how it holds up. My definitive Bottom is probably James Cagney, who as far as I can tell never did another Shakespeare onscreen and really should have, although the rest of the film around him is wildly uneven.
