My poem "Mercury Radio Theatre" has been accepted by Through the Gate. I wrote it after watching Orphée (1949) with
lesser_celery and thinking about Cocteau and radio with
asakiyume. All these things considered, the fact that it was written during mostly a pair of Post-Meridian Radio Players rehearsals is really unsurprising.
My poem "Ψάπφοι Σελάννα" has been accepted by Apex Magazine, which asked me to contribute last week when I was moving and couldn't think about anything except boxes. The title is Aeolic Greek for "The Moon to Sappho." I wrote it thinking about lyric fragments, a poem by
skogkatt and something
cucumberseed said at Arisia. It is pretty much what it sounds like.
Those were the bookends of my day.
