My first-ever collaborations with other poets have recently been accepted for publication. (Since I have no idea what I'm doing in collaboration, this rather amazes me. I'm chalking it up to the talents of the other person involved.) Several months ago, Mike Allen invited me to write a rengay with him; the resultant tangle of strings, constellations, and faces, "Aranea," has been accepted by Not One of Us. John Benson, meanwhile, is entirely to blame for (a) "The Waters Where Once We Lay" (b) the fact that it just sold to Jabberwocky; it's full of kelp and loss, and does not conform to any known meter. So this is all good.
