In other words, I am about to leave for the Massachusetts State Democratic Convention. The sky outside my window is full of gold-fringed cloudbanks and still dawn-thickened light. The cats are asleep.

I have no idea if I will get what I want, but I would rather be trying for it than not. I will be counted. We shall see.

I appear to have picked them up in 2010 with a song called "All I Want for Christmas Is a Dukla Prague Away Kit" and then forgotten about them for a number of years and then picked them up again. They are delightful.

If they have a song called "Renfield's Afoot" I haven't encountered it till now and I need to fix this.
