My brother's dearest friend is back from Iraq. With all luck, he will not be deployed again and he will be able to finish his college career—from which the National Guard pulled him, a year and a half ago. Right now, we're just glad he's home. He is family; he is that kind of friend. And he will need to heal.

Glad he's back. It's a good time not to be in Iraq, although I can't say that I thought any day of the year my brother was there was a good time, either.
