Today is my third anniversary with derspatchel. It's all melted by now, but this morning was the first snow of the season. It has been in many to most respects a terrible year. We are still here and we are going to do something to celebrate it.

"Bread and Roses." Id never heard it, so I listened to the Bronwen Lewis version, since that's what you were listening to when you wrote this. It's lovely.

I'm glad. As far as I can tell, it's a song I learned as an adult, but it hooked right into my heart. The version in Pride (which may be the version you found and listened to) begins as a solo and ends chorally, which makes it even more powerful to me.
