I am delighted by Radiohead's new music video. For everyone who loved The Wicker Man (1973) but thought, "You know what this story really needs? More stop-motion children's animation."

You probably aren't getting quite the cognitive dissonance it gives to us Brits who grew up watching Trumpton!

I'm familiar with the animation style! It's true that I didn't grow up on it, though, so, yes, way less childhood-warping for me.

[edit] I just showed the video to rushthatspeaks: "IT'S LIKE THE MUPPETS HAD A WICKER MAN."

Coincidentally I was listening to the violinist from The Wicker Man playing at the local May Festival just on Sunday.
