A heart like an anchor that sank her down to me
1. Readercon tomorrow! I will have copies of Ghost Signs on me. I am coming into this convention very tired, but it will be good to see people.
2. It delights me that Rejected Princesses has gotten around to Sonya Golden Hand. The second photograph in the post looks like the one that inspired the only poem by Marge Piercy I really like: "The thief."
3. The trash-picked painting, photographed by

I like all the sea-stuff; it's really that one color I'm side-eyeing. (It's even more off-kilter in person.) Come to my reading on Friday and you may hear some of the story that made me take it home.

It's really jarring! I feel like a brighter pink would not necessarily have been a better idea, but I hadn't considered anything in the lavender range. Hmm. Purples and greens can certainly work well together; I guess the question is how it would do with the red next door. (Which is even brighter in person and continues to work fine for me.)
