They say he is a monster, dear old Mr. Green
So I wanted to write about Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015) when I got home tonight.
Slightly past the 2000-word mark, my arms hit a brick wall.
I will finish the post and put it up tomorrow. Expect discussion of structure, voice, and Bruce Banner. I am going to put an ice pack on my elbows and go to bed.

Thank you! Without Evans, I don't think it would have worked.
....I'm personally retconning that Tony Stark takes up some brilliant but out-there scientist working on Alzheimer's and throws all the money in the world at him for Peggy, because otherwise it's just so sad, altho I LOVE that she did have a full, great life without Steve.
. . . I WISH TO ADOPT YOUR RETCON IMMEDIATELY. AUGH. THANK YOU.
(Yes; it is wonderful that she grieves but does not pine. But the dementia was unnecessary. She could have been a hell of a resource for the Avengers! My mother works with people older who still have all their memories!)

(Steve visits Peggy every week. And brings her flowers. And really good tea. And helps her go outside for a walk. And she can tell him stories about her life after he uh died, on her good days. And he will love them.)

That is beautiful and still heartbreaking.

(I'm sorry if I got snappy at you over at Kate's, I tried to fade out for at least a bit because I felt like I needed a timeout, heh)

Nah, we're good. Thank you for double-checking, though.
