Because I talk a lot about film on this journal, and I think it's worth paying for. Incentives include cat pictures and poetry. And film writing, of course.

but one thing you might consider is something like an alternative $5/mo reward (if that's doable on Patreon--I've seen it done on Kickstarter, but that may be a different beast), wherin we'd give you money if you promised to write extra poetry/fiction.

So noted. I think I'd like to run the current model for a couple of months and see how it works first—one of the goals of this Patreon was to avoid anything that required so much commitment it became a source of stress, because I have enough sources of stress already. I will be writing film-related poems, however, since I have more than one patron at the $15 level. So that should be interesting.

(I'd totally give you money toward finishing that translation of the Pharsalia, except I totally don't have any money...)

I still really want to someday! And not in a Browning Version kind of way, either.
