Hey! Internet! I've just been talking about how much it sucks when a novel kills off its queer characters. Especially when there's, like, one of them and they're the one who doesn't make it. Can someone point me toward a list of books where that doesn't happen? Spoilers, whatever.

Nicole Kimberling's novel Turnskin. It addresses shapeshifting and gender and queerness and is generally great.

I like the idea of a shape-shifter working in the theater.

Thank you! Blind Eye Books are new to me; I recognize some of their titles from reviews on LJ, but I haven't actually read anything of theirs. I see this needs to change.
