derspatchel and I are engaged.I gave him a copy of The Lady's Not for Burning. He gave me Tom Swift and His Repelatron Skyway. I brought the rings: a design of two cats, side by side. At the Friendly Toast, we signed our names to the question on the frontispiece of one book and the finale of the other.
(We are still making wedding plans. It is with great self-restraint that I have not titled this post THIS WILL ALL BE GONE INTO AT THE PROPER TIME.)
We are very, very happy.
