I am just going outside and may be some time

A winter like the winters of my childhood!

ALL AT THE SAME TIME?

Eeeep! Troubling subject line yo!

Yes indeed. Enjoy the wind and white out, but do come back to us.

I read your comment as "...a desperate snuggle."
With hot cocoa!

Oddly, I'm almost sorry I'm missing it. All the posts here and on FaceBook I'm reading from New England match up nicely with my fuzzy memories of the 1978 blizzard.

Yes.

I suspect it may be worse in your part of the world than here in CT, but it's piling up something fierce outside. I dug out a space by the stoop for the dog round eleven pm--two and a half hours later it was completely covered over again.

I talked with a friend near Providence, RI round nine pm. She was seeing lightning, which was making the sky go blue and green. None of that here, just snow and wind. I almost wish I were there to see it with her, although it's just as well that my parents aren't trying to deal with all this by themselves.

This is beautifully poetic, and I read it aloud to the room full of people, who laughed and smiled and appreciated it. So thank you!

Yes, ALL at once!

Which email address reaches you most reliably these days? I was thinking about trying to re-send the email that didn't go through a few weeks ago.

The memorable winters of my childhood had snow piled past my knees. Of course, my knees were lower to the ground then.

Snerk. Indeed, yes.

Hey, you know how we used to have a car? We now have this attractive, wind-swept snowbank. With windshield wipers sticking out of it.

Holy good gods SNOW!
