I am no longer in D.C. I am no longer even on a train, which is the really important part. This was a rather fraught weekend going in and there were some epic complications along the way (meaning their stories will be told and retold endlessly at all appropriate occasions), but the short form is that it turned out to be a good trip and I am very glad, for a number of reasons, that I went. Further bulletins as sleep warrants. There hasn't exactly been a lot of that these last few days.

[livejournal.com profile] cucumberseed's review of A Mayse-Bikhl is now online at Versification. That wasn't a bad thing to come home to, either.

A well-deserved review. That comment on the poems changing their shape must, I hope, please you very much.

I look forward to reading your adventures, as and when. Sleep well.

I'm glad it went... better than it could have gone? And wish you excellent sleep!

When you wake up, I wish you to have this piece of life advice: take the pain meds. I feel it applies in many situations, and I am advising myself the same.

Also, Noel was really, really pissed off at you and Spatch when she woke up on Sunday. "Where my two friends? Where my singing? I NEED HAVE MORE SINGING!"

You are cruel deserters and will probably perish at the end of fondue forks.

I'm glad you're safely home, and that it turned out to be a good trip.

Hope there's sleep to be had for you.
