Film did not happen, but it turns out you can get a Corpse Reviver at Cuchi Cuchi, also an Easy Virtue, a Brazilian Wax, an after-dinner absinthe, and some really astonishing blini, so I wouldn't call the evening a letdown.

He wrote a goofy parody of Poe's The Raven for the school magazine that I can still quote.

I don't believe I do. If he's this Miles Rind, he would have been at Brandeis when I was there, but I didn't take any courses in philosophy. I approve of quotably goofy Poe parodies, though.
