But the fools only look—they cannot listen for laughing
My poem "The Hero's Journey" has been accepted by Not One of Us. It's the incredibly depressed one about Dido in the underworld. I write this in a stupidly good mood, which I do not expect to break any time in the next few hours.
Why, yes, internet, I would love an episode of Gunsmoke starring Hans Conried. "Shakespeare," 23 August 1952. A strangely touching one, too, considering Conried's comparative careers in radio and film.
I wasn't looking for stereoscopic views of the Gloucester granite industry, but I'm not going to complain about finding them.
It's spring outside. I can't tell if this means next week it's going to snow.

I'm glad for the other good things as well. I hope it doesn't snow next week, although I have to say I'd not lay money on it not doing so.

And I'll certainly not complain about your sharing them. Some nice shots there. For some reason I'm fond of those little sailing cargo vessels that went on carrying goods up and down the coasts well after the triumph of the engine in so many other nautical rôles.
Happy Purim!
