John Benson, editor of Not One of Us and all-round cool person, has been interviewed by Matt Cheney over at The Mumpsimus. He published my first-ever short story, back in 2001. He's the man to call if the governor of Chicago comes down with avian flu. And he's got a fabulously neurotic cat named Sheeba. Go forth, read, and send your work to Not One of Us! Thanks for the heads-up about the interview. He's always been the epitome of the Gentleman Editor to me, in rejections as well as acceptances (and he just accepted a story of mine for the Spring '06 issue of NOoU after giving me the chance to make revisions :) ). I'm glad to see he's getting the extra coverage!
