John Benson, editor of Not One of Us and all-round cool person, has been interviewed by Matt Cheney over at The Mumpsimus. He published my first-ever short story, back in 2001. He's the man to call if the governor of Chicago comes down with avian flu. And he's got a fabulously neurotic cat named Sheeba. Go forth, read, and send your work to Not One of Us! You know you were never really one of them anyway.

Thanks for the heads-up about the interview. He's always been the epitome of the Gentleman Editor to me, in rejections as well as acceptances (and he just accepted a story of mine for the Spring '06 issue of NOoU after giving me the chance to make revisions :) ). I'm glad to see he's getting the extra coverage!
