I took out the trash today and I'm on fire

We have moved all the stuff.

That means the house in Manchester is empty, [livejournal.com profile] schreibergasse and G. are on their way to New Haven, and I am eating osmalia with rosewater from Garlic 'n' Lemons, because I am recovering. The last of the packing-out this afternoon was accomplished with a minimum of attempted homicide; and then we came into Boston to meet a third-party friend for dinner and found ourselves trapped in a molasses of brake lights coming off I-93 onto Storrow Drive, then Fenway traffic and finally college move-in chaos, or else I need a good explanation for the throngs of students on Cambridge Street carrying liquor-store boxes full of random objects. It was even more tiring than moving the washing machine and the evil filing cabinet. The dinner conversation was lovely. I'm going nowhere tomorrow.

[livejournal.com profile] kenjari sent me this:

Does anyone know if it comes as a T-shirt? I know a lot of people who'd need one . . .

[edit]

YES!

Should have added:

IS THOR AROUND? NO. FUCK! GET THOR!
IS THOR AROUND? YES.
In both cases: GET THOR TO MAKE LOKI FIX IT.
rosefox: Green books on library shelves. (Default)

T-shirts. I'm pretty sure "Make Loki fix it" is going to be the new "Get the cats to do it" around here, since the cats never actually do whatever it is we're being too lazy to do.

EDIT: From that same site:

so they go see Freyja
and freyja is like hey thor what's good
and thor is like
SOMEONE STOLE MY HAMMER
WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
and Freya is like shut the fuck up man
we can solve this mystery
Loki did you steal the hammer
and Loki is like nope
and Freyja is like fuck well I'm out of ideas then

I think I'm in love.

Glorious!

And synchronous: Eight Days of Luke was my dinner book.

Nine

I've started writing plot summaries in this particular blog's style. It lends itself to gigglefits.

And I want the "I hope I am a good enough writer that someday dwarves kill me and drink my blood for wisdom" shirt. I need this in my life.

This is most excellent. And it comes in t-shirts!

Weird: I had "The Rolling of the Stones" stuck in my head until I fell asleep last night. The universe is being all synchronous.

Rest well!

My mother and I are both snorting with laughter at that flowchart.

I apologize for the various ways in which we attempted to kill you. Thanks again for busting your butt on our behalf.

Thanks for sharing the flowchart! I'm glad there was only a minimum of attempted homicide, and lovely dinner conversation.

I hope you're recovered and that all's going well.

So much love for the flowchart and the website! :D
