I took out the trash today and I'm on fire
We have moved all the stuff.
That means the house in Manchester is empty,
schreibergasse and G. are on their way to New Haven, and I am eating osmalia with rosewater from Garlic 'n' Lemons, because I am recovering. The last of the packing-out this afternoon was accomplished with a minimum of attempted homicide; and then we came into Boston to meet a third-party friend for dinner and found ourselves trapped in a molasses of brake lights coming off I-93 onto Storrow Drive, then Fenway traffic and finally college move-in chaos, or else I need a good explanation for the throngs of students on Cambridge Street carrying liquor-store boxes full of random objects. It was even more tiring than moving the washing machine and the evil filing cabinet. The dinner conversation was lovely. I'm going nowhere tomorrow.
kenjari sent me this:

Does anyone know if it comes as a T-shirt? I know a lot of people who'd need one . . .

Oh, God, they do Roman history!
This is the author's interpretation of the Julio-Claudian family tree:
. . . For example, if I were a Julio-Claudian my name would be Jack Hans Richard Sumpf Paul Crosbie but then when I became Emperor it would become Jack Richard Crosbie Sumpf Caesar or something and then someone would give me a nickname and I would go down in history as "Turtle Helmet".
Also I would be banging/married my cousin.
