I wrote up part of a chapter, explained what we understand of the outer solar system to a visiting prof, applied for time to observe a spinning dwarf planet's moon in May, and made the best saffron fish balls I've ever tasted.

Haumea: the reason we're doing so is here. Trying to piece together the story of a long-ago impact that left a distorted world, accompanied by a cloud of icy fragments, drifting far out in space.
