And now, an actual announcement.

I have accepted a position as poetry editor at Strange Horizons. Admittedly there are others, but that shouldn't hinder you from sending stuff. I am looking forward to finding out how this process works: I've been a contributing editor for Not One of Us since 2004, but never personally responsible for an entire inbox full of poems.

(Seriously, send stuff. The things I hear about slush are terrifying.)

Don't misunderstand me. I think it was a terrific move on the part of SH. For you, it may prove a mixed blessing. The experience and visibility will be pluses. However, positions like this take up all available spacetime unless you employ draconian disciplinary measures.
