It snowed beautifully overnight and is still snowing in thin unbroken spirals, tufting the yew branches and the crime-scene silhouettes of cars in the street. The roads have been cleared, but before then I saw a rabbit running the shadow of its own footprints under the streetlight. Hestia's bird theater sits huddling and fluffing in the hearts of bushes.
