Two things make a post if I say they do. One of them is really important.

1. Next Sunday—October the 28th—I will be taking part in the tenth annual Music to Cure MS at the Park Avenue Congregational Church in Arlington. This is the same benefit concert in which I have sung twice previously, offering an aria by Britten one year and some art songs by Fauré the next; I am now apparently fusing the genres with three of Britten's folksong settings, but you'll have to show up on Sunday if you want to find out which ones.

2. I have to ask the internet for help and I have no idea how to do it. I don't have a lot of practice. I barely have practice telling the internet how I'm doing, honestly; that's what this year has been for.

I need somewhere to live. My current situation is not viable. The complicating factors: I have somewhat specific living requirements and I am very poor. I started keeping an eye out for places in the spring; it took me until week before last to hear about one that was even faintly plausible in terms of finances and then it turned out for unrelated reasons not to be a workable option for me. (That was the demoralizing I mentioned a few posts ago.) So, being unable to fall back on a better plan: I'm asking my friendlist for leads. In an ideal world, I would prefer to move into the Somerville area, but at this point if you know anyone in Boston who's looking for a housemate, I'd like to hear about it. It will be very, very much appreciated.

Anyone who suggests I run a Kickstarter or just ask the internet for money, however, will be completely ignored.
