Everyone has things they blog about. Everyone has things they don't blog about. Challenge me out of my comfort zone by telling me something I don't blog about, but you'd like to hear about, and I'll write a post about it. Obviously, I could not tell you much about yaoi or graphic techniques, but all sorts of other random subjects are fair game. At the moment I am thinking that I need to research more of Leslie Howard's life, but I would probably have mentioned that anyway. The other two are courtesy of lignota.

In actual news, this afternoon I watched Pierrepoint (2006) and tonight I saw gaudior and rushthatspeaks (with a side of weirdquark, Thrud, and a ninja) and they were awesome. This is not an unusual condition for them, but it is always worth the mention.

There's something about a quiz that's going to tell me what art movement I am that makes me giggle. But okay, let's find out what :-) (oh boring, I got surrealism too. And I really object to that last question; I could like any of those types of art, or dislike them, depending)

I dunno, the combination of immense artistic ability with elusiveness, the frequent use of mythological/literary/other references in ways that some readers may miss, and emphasis on/inspiration from the world of dreams, is distinctly reminiscent of Dali.

Anyway, for your challenge you are to do NONE of these things, but rather post upon your own backstory. Dredge up those painful memories of your high school years! (I'm merely assuming they're painful.) Sing of telescopes, or archery, or some other weird facet of your life!

Oh, you're right about immense artistic ability and elusive/allusiveness--I was mainly teasing on the write-up the quiz maker gave to surrealism. But definitely, sovay has excellent surreal traits too!
