I just walked out through the dead leaves in the side yard and looked for the exploding comet with a pair of binoculars, but I didn't need them: it's a diffuse, distinct halo of light below Perseus, triangulated with Mirfak (Alpha Persei) and Delta Persei. This is wonderful.

Yes. How often do you get to say that?

I need to try to get another look now that it's gotten more halo-ed.
