I just walked out through the dead leaves in the side yard and looked for the exploding comet with a pair of binoculars, but I didn't need them: it's a diffuse, distinct halo of light below Perseus, triangulated with Mirfak (Alpha Persei) and Delta Persei. This is wonderful.

I'd assume so—at least, I'm going to be looking for it again. Take a photograph!

If only! But I haven't the skill (or the camera) to take pictures of celestial objects. But I'll take a look and hope to see it.
