Shining east of your face
At the end of this high-pain, low-sleep week, I get to feel smug because I successfully parallel-parked in Harvard Square.
rushthatspeaks and I sat on wooden park chairs that had partly blown over in the lion-winds with my lemon-ginger-honey and his really chocolate cookie. WERS played Belly's "Feed the Tree" (1993), Band of Horses' "Is There a Ghost" (2007), and Sharon Van Etten & The Attachment Theory's "Afterlife" (2024). I have now heard Inhaler's "Your House" (2024) at least three times on two different college radio stations in the last forty-eight hours. My niece has returned to town.
P.S. Close to sunset,
spatch and I went for a walk.

I continue to love this mirror's shield-boss reflection of the world.

The stamp of old industries.

The remnant of a streetcar system's overhead line.
