David Lynch has died. Nobody dreamed the same after him. I hate the subtraction of artists from the world.

I'm honestly struggling with the realisation that David Lynch was actually mortal.

I'm not sure he was, which is part of what makes it so weird.

In my head he was going to live forever. He was a truly singular artist, who did such amazing work, and I'm happy to be so influenced by him.

I'm so glad he could count you in his lineage.
