I'm honestly struggling with the realisation that David Lynch was actually mortal. In my head he was going to live forever. He was a truly singular artist, who did such amazing work, and I'm happy to be so influenced by him.
It isn't that he meant so very much to me, although I did like his work and I thought the first episode of the 2017 season of Twin Peaks was some of the most remarkable TV ever made. It's more than it somehow more deeply confirms the contract of mortality to witness that even someone as apparently unsubject to material reality as David Lynch can die.

It has been reminding me all day of the news of the death of David Bowie, who should never have belonged to this planet enough to leave it.

He is a loss! There are so many other people who wouldn't have been! I don't like it!

I'm not sure he was, which is part of what makes it so weird.

I'm so glad he could count you in his lineage.

I just saw that! "Forever changed, and forever your Kale."
He's joined Bowie.
His natal moon was conjunct his midheaven, and his ascendant ruler is in Cancer, ruled by the moon. He was, without a doubt, connected to the Moon.
Re: He's joined Bowie.
That seems very fitting to me.
