rushthatspeaks came over this afternoon and we did not watch any of the movies we talked about, but we did order dinner from Jahunger and practically buzz our tongues off with Sichuan pepper from the hand-pulled noodles and the cold chicken. I had never had Uyghur cuisine before. Next time we'll order from Silk Road. The seven-layer honey cake was indeed not the typical thing.

Hestia yesterday morning was incredibly stealthy.

Thank you! Mostly stuff from the '80's, although I had just heard of Shinoda Masahiro's Demon Pond (1979) and am obviously intrigued, and we still need to catch up on Robert Eggers' The Northman (2022) before his Nosferatu hits the stands, which means in our future is almost certainly Herzog's Nosferatu (1979) first.
