The Bradford pears are in full bloom and I would say the neighborhood smells like an Innsmouth orgy if that wouldn't make it sound too appealing. It's memorable! I had no idea for years what caused the characteristic smell of tree-planted Boston spring and I still find it hilarious, although I am probably allergic to it.
