Today I was inside two doctor's offices, one municipal department, one supermarket, and two extraneous stores, therefore since about five-thirty in the evening have been toast. I did capitalism and stared at cheap noir. I was delighted to hear of the ninety-sixth birthday of Tom Lehrer and reassured that we did not have to do Jell-O shots to celebrate. Have a flowering tree.

Gandalf's are famous in more than one world, though. And there is something very appealing about the notion of a benignly smoking volcano after all the tsuris with Mount Doom.
