I had not brought my vaccine card, but was kindly sent home with a little sticker to keep my records up to date. The ability to purchase and eat a caramel bull's-eye after a minor medical procedure feels very old-school. My mother fed us tom kha gai and chicken satay and massaman curry and khao tom mad for antibody-building sustenance and Rob took a picture of me with his eyes closed. My plan for the rest of the evening is to lie on the couch and wait for my arm to fall off.
