It has been a very tired week, but I went for a walk this afternoon and remembered to take my camera.

The last of the red-hot sugar maples.

I believe this object to have been some kind of ceramic succulent, but I thought at first it represented barnacles and anemones.

The dying hydrangeas have a lot of personality.
In their different ways, I have been finding Gen & The Degenerates' "Big Hit Single" (2023) and Ian Sweet's "Your Spit" (2023) very catchy lately.

It does look very barnacle and anemone-ish!

Thank you!

I have no idea what it actually is, but it made a miniature stone garden on the edge of a wall.

Almost everyone else around here has browned out already, so I really appreciate it.

I'll check out the songs. You've been a source for much of my favorite music.

I like that wish. I liked their colors, too.

Thank you! These are definitely poppy (or anti-poppy), but have been on and off in my head for days.
