I have received my latest shot in the shoulder, which I have been informed is no longer considered a booster, merely the most current formulation of the COVID-19 vaccine after the fashion of a seasonal flu shot. I am sure it would not assuage the national surfeit of magical thinking if it were further reframed as an exorcistic incantation—the Erra epic in injectable form—but it would entertain me. I'm going to lie down.

Epics coded into DNA and injected into living vascular beings. What would the effects be in various magitek settings? (AFAIK with my wee education the actual effect would be messy useless proteins and/or nothing).

I kind of want to point either yhlee or radiantfracture at this question! I was thinking of the Erra epic because portions of its text were used as prophylactic amulets against plague, but if you open up the field of possibilities: what would they ward you against, with what would they gift you, what would the side effects be? (I heard a Kazakh epic singer once at the A.R.T. You would definitely get some numinous from a shot of that.)
