spatch and I did with the long weekend of President's Day was observe the Black Kitten 'Thon 2023, in which we did not program ourselves a twenty-four-hour marathon of science fiction film so much as watch a selection of shorts and features which appealed to us at whatever hours we happened to be awake and in the house. Last night we cooked a tomato sauce from scratch with garlic sausage and prosciutto tortellini; tonight we had sandwiches and leftovers. Autolycus and Hestia presided throughout. It is a good tradition, in whatever form it takes, to keep.

I am hoping to write up our 'thon! I don't know what I can promise, since it took me a week to combobulate sufficient intelligence to write about the last movie, but we did see several things I want to tell people about.
