It's so much thriftier than mine
Thirty-six hours later, many of them spent on the phone with various representatives of the internet provider who tried to close a ticket on a problem they had not actually solved, we have internet again. I ran a lot of errands and read with the cats and ate the last of the curry over noodles and was relieved to realize when I woke up this morning that Hugh Laurie had not died in the night, because I had dreamed he had in one of those vivid, slightly delusional ways which persisted between bouts of sleep and I was reasonably upset about it. Now that I can look up trivia about famous people without resorting to a public library, I have discovered that his father was an Olympic rower. And now that our television works again, I am going to watch something on TCM.

The one was how I got to the other! Then I ended up reading a lot about Cambridge rowing in the 1930's.
There was a 2012 movie about two guys rowing double sculls for Britain in 1948, but I don't remember if there was much mention of other British rowers.
Nice cast. Ran Laurie and Jack Wilson do not seem to feature among the supporting.
