selkie has revealed herself as the author of "The Fire and the Place in the Forest," which is indeed recursive because for Hanukkah of 2018 I wrote "Where the Sky Is Silver and the Earth Is Brass" for her. I do not recognize the AO3 handle of the author of "The Cloud Mirror" and that is an entirely different kind of really neat. It is a sign of the postal times that it took two tries since October for my CDs of Torchwood: The Last Beacon (2018) and Torchwood: The Hope (2019) to arrive, but they finally did, which was a nice touch for the end of the year.
