It was snowing this morning, the first snow of the year. We watched it spiral lightly out of the dawn-blue overcast. It didn't seem to be sticking, but it was beautiful, and made the world look like something else for a little while.
Oh, pretty! The first snow is always so lovely, especially when there are still leaves on the trees - I love that look of the green covering up the white. (Is this unusually early where you are? It wouldn't be early in Alaska, but I don't remember getting snow in Illinois until late Nov. or Dec.)

I don't know anymore! In the New England I grew up in, it would be toward the earlier end of the range, but not surprising (as opposed to early October, which would definitely have been jumping the gun), but now that we have climate change? I have no clue.
