It's always long goodbyes at your event horizons

It was snowing this morning, the first snow of the year. We watched it spiral lightly out of the dawn-blue overcast. It didn't seem to be sticking, but it was beautiful, and made the world look like something else for a little while.

It stuck.

DW has this handy thing now where you can click on it to make it not as obtrusive. (Or, looks fine on my browser, is I think what I actually mean.)

I do worry about the trees, though...

I will check on that not-make-it-as-obtrusive feature next time!

And yeah--me too re: trees. At least it's not as bad as the October storm in 2011. This one I feel like I can enjoy the prettiness.
