It's not often that one has the pleasure of seeing a terrible person bombarded with the consequences of their actions in quite such a self-inflicted way. I am really enjoying the much-needed dopamine hit.

Also, while I've heard of Sapphire and Steel and sort of generally know what it's about, I was today years old when I learned that David McCallum was in it.

It is truly impressive. For once I appreciate 2020's total disinterest in subtlety.

He's excellent in it! I only ever wrote up half the show, but it stayed just as weird and gripping all the way through its untimely cancellation that wound up serving as an ironically apropos finale. If you are so minded, all six serials are on YouTube.
